I love to bake cakes, cupcakes, cookies, you name it and I will try to bake it at least once. I pride myself on doing this well and have been told my by biggest fans ( My children that nothing compares) So when I was offered to pick a cake of my liking to review with Fantasicakes I was drooling with anticipation. I must have sat at their website for at least an hour trying to decide which one I wanted to sample. And with the large variety that they have to chose from there is literally something for everyone!
Finally I narrowed it down to 2 choices. Either the Blueberry Bundt cake or the Cinnamon Apple Coffee Cake, unable to decide I left the decision up to the good people over at Fantasicakes being the experts and all.
It was just a few days later that a box arrived at my door and with excitement I opened it to see which on they had sent me!! For this review I received an 8″ Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake!!
I made the mistake of waiting for the family to get home to take the cake from its packaging and drizzle the amazing tasting frosting on to it. We cut into the cake instantly noticing the moistness of the cake and the apparent chunks of apples throughout. The Cinnamon crumble topping is to die for and the whole cake came together as a well balanced masterpiece.
Before I knew it, and yes it was less then 10 min my hubby and kids had the cake devoured… So much for mom getting to have a piece later!! Who needs flowers or candy when you can send a Delicious cake!!!!!
