I don’t think that I know anyone who doesn’t like to get flowers, there is just something about getting them that makes someone happy and adds a magical touch to wherever they are placed. Roses are my absolute favorite so when I was given the opportunity to review FTD’s College Rose Collection I was beyond thrilled. FTD’s College Collection roses are a beautiful arrangement of Roses in your favorite college teams colors, all arranged by hand and placed in a beautiful vase with the teams logo etched on it. I was generously offered my pick of 2 colleges team colors, with over 51 college’s to choose from, and myself not attending /attended any of them it was more about colors and nostalgia for me.
For the first arrangement I chose Notre Dame’s Colors of Blue and Green!! Just looking at the roses on the page had me curious of how their beauty would compare in person ( and hubby loves them). So when they arrived at my home the first box I opened was the one that had the Notre Dame College roses in it.
As you can see from my pictures they are even more beautiful in person then on the website.
Even my son was impressed as soon as they came out of the box, the colors were bright and beautiful and the roses smelled heavenly!! Any Notre Dame Fan, Alumni. or soon to be graduate would ADORE these.. Heck even if you just like the combination of the Green and the Blue they are truly a beautiful sight.
For my second choice I picked Northwestern…Did I go there?.. I wish!!! I grew up about 20 min from the campus and spent a good portion of my teen years wandering the campus with my friends acting like big shots!! ( Not to mention that Purple is my favorite color) Again just coming out of the box the roses are stunning and vibrant in color and beauty!!
Both arrangements bloomed beautifully and made the rooms that they were in smell fantastic!! FTD has a large variety of beautiful flower arrangements but these are most certainly my new favorite!!
