Gardening All Year Long Made Simple With Aerogarden

Gardening in the summer time is by far one of my favorite pastimes. There is nothing like using your own fresh vegetables and herbs for the various recipes I have. Sadly being in Illinois gardening all year round is not an option that I have. So what is a girl to do when she wants fresh from the garden herbs and veggies ? I found my answer when a box arrived at my doorstep with my brand new Aerogarden Ultra in it. Excited I didn’t hesitate to open the box and get the Aerogarden Ultra up and running. I was pleased at the ease of assembling it and getting everything ready to let the growing begin.

The Aerogarden Ultra has easy to follow instructions that display on the monitor to help guide you in planting your garden and keeping things running smoothly. It also give s you helpful tips along the way and lets you know how long your garden has been planted for.

The Ultra came with 7 Basil Seed pods and each one was its own variation of Basil ( I never knew there were so many types) Kenna quickly ran to help me get things going and before we knew it. About an hour or so later Kenna grabbed her chair pulled it up to the counter and asked me if they were growing yet.

A few days later and after Kenna checking everyday to see if they were sprouting, little basil plants were coming from the tops of the pods. McKenna was thrilled and wanted to know if they were ready yet.

Now 3 weeks into our growing cycle the plants are flourishing!! I am so grateful that the Aerogarden Ultra adjusts in height so that my plants can grow taller. I had decided to go on to the website to see what other fantastic things I could grow with the Aerogarden. Who would’ve ever thought that you could grow everything from Tomatoes to Peppers all indoors and even during the coldest days of winter.

I haven’t harvested any of it yet but I can tell you I cannot wait. I plan on making everything from Bruschetta to Pesto and use it in my spaghetti sauce. I also have plans to buy another one so I can start growing tomatoes and peppers. I have had so much with the Aerogarden and am looking forward to growing new things.
