Do you know who Sophia Grace and Rosie are?? They are the two of the cutest cousins who stole everyone’s hearts when appearing on the Ellen show awhile back singing and professing their love for Nicki Minaj. Their fun loving spirit and love for all things girly set a place in my memory instantly making me think of my own daughter McKenna. Take a look at their clip from Ellen to see what I mean.
Now they have come out with a book that any little girl is sure to love called Tea Time With Sophia Grace And Rosie.
Sophia Grace and Rosie share all the proper tips for hosting the perfect princess tea party and McKenna was so excited to receive a copy of this book and throw a tea party of her very own. We sat down and read the book and she had instantly decided it was one of her new favorites and I very quickly found her reading it to some of her “friends” and planning their very own princess tea party.
Sophia Grace and Rosie want to throw an amazing tea party. Using their imagination, they call upon with their favorite fairy friends and are given fairy wands with which they magically transform their bedroom into the fanciest, most sparkly castle that ever ! They agree that they will each invite one guest to the tea but they will not tell the other who it is and make beautiful sparkly invitations to their guests of choice.. who happen to be each other!
The colorful pictures of the girls dancing and having so much fun made it hard for McKenna to put the book down. She had decided she was going to try her hand at her very own tea party. She had so many different ideas for what she wanted to do one more glorious then the next. Of course she didn’t want any help from me and she was hard at work figuring out who she was going to have there.
She rounded up her friends and had hours of fun pretending to have tea and continuing to “Read” them the book. Pouring them fake tea and serving them cake she let her imagination run wild.
I love this book for McKenna and highly suggest it to anyone who has a girly girl in their life. Here are some of the fun teatime tips from the book. You can purchase Tea Time with Sophia Grace and Rosie at Barnes and Noble, Amazon.com, or your favorite book store.
